Eli Vered Hazan served as Israel's Ambassador to Singapore and non-resident Ambassador to Timor-Leste from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, he served as a political adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His years inside Singapore's institutions give this book a perspective few writers can offer.
